Radon Test Kit

The Radon Test Kit by H Chek easily collects samples of the deadly radon gas that can accumulate in your home or office. Radon is a highly toxic, odorless and colorless gas. It comes from radioactive decay of naturally occurring radium and uranium in the ground. Radon is a known carcinogen, causing an estimated 22,000 lung cancer deaths every year. The EPA now recommends that all homes be tested for radon.

The Radon Test Kit is available with two charcoal liquid scintillation vials for collecting room air samples in your home or office. The technology used to produce these vials along with the Laboratory analysis provides highly accurate results in an easy to use product. The vials are simply located in whatever room(s) you want to test, opened and left undisturbed for 48 to 96 hours. After the required time frame has passed, the vials are resealed and mailed to H Chek's Certified Laboratory for analysis.

H Chek's two vial Radon Test Kit meets the EPA Real Estate Simultaneous Testing Protocol. This kit can be used for Radon Testing of real estate sales in regulated states at a significan cost savings. This short term test along with our E-mailed test results provides a quick turn around time to meet your closing requirements.

Also included in the Radon Test Kit is a booklet called " A Guide to the Dangers of Radon". This informative booklet provides you with information on Radon Gas, it's potential health effects and resources for resolving a Radon problem.
